Silk Jersey is a knitted wedding dress fabric which stretches in all directions for figure-hugging designs and is highly drapey. Its open texture means that it is also extremely breathable and comfortable. Jersey can be used for bridal gowns, bride tunics, leggings, and tops for weddings, special occasions, proms, etc. It has length-wise ribs on the right side, and cross-wise ribs on the wrong side. Jersey was originally produced on the Channel Isle of Jersey. It was famously made fashionable by Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel.
