Jersey can be used for dresses, tunics, leggings, and tops for weddings, special occasions, etc. It has length-wise ribs on the right side, and cross-wise ribs on the wrong side. Jersey was originally produced on the Channel Isle of Jersey. It was famously made fashionable by Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel.
