Crystal Organza is one of the most sheer and lightweight dress fabrics, and gives a 'twinkle' as it catches the light. It is more transparent than chiffon, but relatively stiffer with a crisp handle, and can add greater volume to skirts. This low cost polyester is a popular fabric for overlays or over-skirts on wedding dresses for both and bridesmaids, evening gowns and cocktail, and prom dresses. It is also often used as bridal veiling, as an interfacing, and in lingerie.
