This Linen-Cotton mix is a soft, breathable, medium-weight ladies jacket fabric (suiting fabric) with the cool, crisp feel of linen but a bit more lustrous and crease resistant. Often used in skirts, dresses, jackets, suits, and shirts, including special occasions such as weddings. Linen was one of the first textiles to be produced by early humans. Our word 'linen' stems from the ancient Latin name for the flax plant 'linum' and the earlier Greek 'linon'.
