This heavy silk crepe back satin is a very drapey, and reversible bridal fabric. A very versatile crepe satin material for bridal dressmaking, elegant evening gowns, and other special occasion couture in figure-hugging, flowing or drapey styles. Crepe backed satin allows many useful effects to be achieved by using both the very shiny satin side, and the matt crepe side in the same garment. For example a top in the satin side and bottom in the crepe, or a whole garment in the satin with crepe trimmings.
