This heavy crepe, or heavy satin back crepe, is a very drapey, and reversible dress fabric. A low cost polyester crepe fabric, it is ideal for figure-hugging or flowing styles for cooler weather. A popular bridal fabric, it is good for dressmaing bridesmaids, proms, couture gowns, etc. Using both the matt sheen satin side, and the matt crepe side allows many useful dressmaking effects, such as a top in the satin side and bottom in the crepe, or a whole garment in the satin with crepe trimmings.
